To School with Our Own Programme

September 2009 is a turning point for Downside Up Early Intervention Department: we are opening a “first grade” of our own. Seven children will be mastering an experimental pre-school programme, which will subsequently be presented to Moscow Educational Department. The programme is financed by OAK Foundation. A bit of statistics: at the beginning of this school year 1522 families are enlisted with Downside Up Early Intervention Centre, including 1023 families from Russian regions and former Soviet republics. In 2009 150 children with Down syndrome attended 50 pre-schools in Moscow and Moscow region.

    A Lucky Figure 20

20 km per hour is the speed of a group of bikers on the cycling route at the Bike ride. Each new bike ride participant makes 20 new friends during the bike ride. On every day of this year’s bike ride 20 new members joined Downside Up Friends Club. Many thanks to all those who have supported us! Better have a hundred friends than a hundred rubles. You can join Downside Up Friends Club by making a donation through this link.
