On 7th November 2010 the Spring In-Door Football Tournament will take place in aid of raising money for Russian children with Down syndrome. Isn’t that a good enough reason to compete!
The participation mechanism is simple: a corporate team pays a charitable contribution 100 000 rubles in favour of the children with Down syndrome and takes part in the football tournament featuring professional judges and gear. On one hand, your staff get together and play football, and, on the other hand, the company provides financial support that really matters to children with disabilities. Find out what surprises will happen this year! As to the opponents, this tournament will certainly live up to your expectations. Corporate participants in 2010: PepsiCo, РосБанк, ЭксонМобил Раша Инк, Baker&McKenzie, Renaissance & Courtyard by Marriott Hotels of Russia, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, 24, CliffordChance and others.
There is no need to worry if your company is too busy this fall to compete - you can join us in April 2011! Luckily, Downside Up has started a new charity sports tradition due to popular demand and is now hosting the football tournaments twice a year. Tournament dates are to be confirmed, so be sure to check this site soon.
