On 7th November the 2010 Fall Charity In-door Football Tournament was held at Dynamo stadium. We could not have chosen better weather for this traditional Charity Sport event in aid of children with Down syndrome.
14 teams participated in this tournament: Frito-Lay, Lebedyansky, Pepsico Holdings, ExonMobil Russia Inc., AGC Glass Russia, Baker & McKenzie, Phillips, Kaspersky Laboratory, Clifford Chance, Beiten Burkhardt, PwC, Renaissance Hotels, Ritz-Carlton Russia, Downside Up parents’ team. PepsiCo Russia was the general partner of the event. The prizes were provided by OOO ÀVM SPORT company and the Thai spa chain Kinari.
A new team STARCO - pop stars’ soccer club - made their debut in the Charity Sports initiative.
The popular musician and singer Sergey Minayev put himself forward by scoring match winning goals for his team.
Tournament results: 1,065,367.00 rubles raised in aid of early intervention programmes for children with Down syndrome. This means that Downside Up cognitive, motor and speech development sessions and psychological support will remain free for 2114 families.
