AID BY PROVIDING IN-KIND GOODS OR SERVICES

The aid by way providing in-kind goods or services will bring along a lower cost of family support programmes. We will be happy to receive the following goods and/or services from companies or private individuals:

For children: apple juice, biscuits, fruit, quick-cooking oatmeal. Our monthly expenses for these goods amount to approximately 5 thousand rubles;

For Early Intervention Centre: cleaning agents and detergents, toilet paper and paper towels, boot covers;

For families: transportation services to those families who find it difficult to get to Downside Up Centre;

For stuff: cartridges for a Xerox and printers.

VOLUNTEER HELP

In Downside Up children and their parents are attended to by professionals such as speech therapists, psychologists, special education teachers, etc. Therefore our demand for voluntary aid in day-to-day work with the children is not as pressing as it is in leisure and recreation services.

However, we do need your help in preparing for and conducting charity events, children’s holiday parties, parent and teacher meetings, exhibitions, subbotniks (voluntary clean-ups), etc.

If you are willing to help us as a volunteer, please fill in the questionnaire below and send it to volunteer@downsideup.org . Your letter will be forwarded to our Volunteer Aid Exchange open to all DSU employees.

A concerned specialist will contact you after perusing your questionnaire.

Thank you!
